Abstract
The problem with developing new technology is that the establishment generally views it as threatening and the problems faced by the small company are frequently more political than technical (Silos, Politics and Turf Wars). Understanding the organizational dynamic of the complex, multidimensional, multi-factorial environment that influences how new concepts are introduced and accepted is essential and developing a strategy for getting an honest, objective assessment of a new technological product is a real challenge. Some counter intuitive examples can be instructive.
